Hi, I'm Farid. Thank you for giving a piece of your time to wander through mine. This little book is more than words on a screen — it's a fragment of me, coded line by line, imagined page by page, built from scratch with care and creativity. So take a breath, settle in — and enjoy this glimpse into my world.
In the heart of Bucharest, Romania, I took my first breaths, starting the very first page of my story.
2015 – 2018
It all began when I stepped into University Titu Maiorescu in Bucharest to study Computer Science. At first, it was about lectures, exams, and the pursuit of knowledge — but soon I realized it was also about discovering myself.
Life opened doors I had never imagined. I stepped onto stages, participating in events such as Mister and Miss at my university, where I learned the thrill of being seen, of carrying myself with confidence, and of embracing the moment.
Beyond the campus walls, I even ventured into the world of television, joining the reality show "Te vreau lângă mine." There, in the spotlight and under the eyes of a wider public, I learned lessons no classroom could provide: how to present myself, how to connect with strangers, how to transform nervousness into strength.
Those university years were more than studies — they were a mosaic of growth, experiences, and small awakenings. And in the end, I graduated with a license in Computer Science, carrying with me not only knowledge, but memories and lessons that shaped the person I was becoming.
Even with the diploma in my hands, I felt strangely hollow, as if I had been walking on borrowed footsteps. The choices I once believed were mine now echoed with my parents' voices, leaving me unsure where I truly ended and they began.
Adulthood arrived like a storm, and I stood in the center, drenched in questions heavier than rain. I carved out silence for myself, hoping that in stillness I might hear the faint murmur of who I really was. So I gathered the fragments of courage I still had and chose to risk it all.
I left behind the familiar streets, the safety of family ties, and stepped into the unknown. The UK became my destination, a land I imagined draped in possibility, where the future shone a little brighter.
I carried only my dreams and the quiet hope that distance could teach me who I was meant to be. Yet there, among strangers and an unknown system, I felt like a lone wolf wandering through uncharted woods. Every challenge became a lesson, every silence a mirror. I longed not just for opportunity, but for rebirth.
In time, the lone wolf found new ground to stand on. I graduated once more, this time at University College Birmingham, with a degree in Marketing.
Between lectures and long nights of study, I also claimed my driving license — a symbol of movement, of freedom, of finally steering my own path.
It was also the year I built my very first website — a small one, but mine from the first line of code. The spark that turned curiosity into a craft.
But after long years abroad, the weight of distance grew heavy on my heart. I missed the language of home, the warmth of familiar skies, the rhythm of my own country. So I chose to return, carrying both the scars and the wisdom of my journey, ready to restart my life where my story first began.
And so, what seemed like an ending was only a new beginning. This is just one chapter of my journey — many more are still unwritten.
Back home, the work began in earnest. I've had the privilege of building, fixing and shaping the online presence of brands I genuinely admire — Phoenicia Hotels, Hometel and EuropaTravel.
Every project taught me something new — about code, about people, about the quiet patience it takes to turn an idea into something that actually works. The journey continues, one line at a time. Follow me on socials to see the story continue.
